Visa Application Tips
- - Passport: The original passport should have a validity of at least six months from the date of submission. It must also have at least one entirely blank page dedicated for the visa to be affixed. Additionally, prepare a photocopy of the data page of the passport.
- - Visa Application Form: Fill out the "Visa Application Form of the People's Republic of China" clearly, accurately, and completely. Ensure that all the information provided is true and authentic. The applicant is required to sign the form.
- - Passport Photo: Provide one recent 2 - inch (48×33mm) full - faced and bareheaded passport photo. The photo should be taken within the last six months. It must meet the following requirements: the background should be white or close to white, with no borders; the face should be clearly visible, with the head centered, eyes open, lips closed, and ears exposed. The photo should be printed on high - quality, non - textured, non - glossy paper (not a photo copy, digital photo printed on ordinary paper, or a daily life photo). Avoid using photos with facial features distorted due to improper shooting angles, or those with the applicant wearing thick - framed, colored, or reflective glasses, hats, or other head coverings (except for religious reasons, and even then, the face should not be obscured).

- - Discretionary Materials: The visa officer may request other materials deemed necessary for the visa application. This could be additional proof of financial resources, personal statements, or other relevant documentation to clarify the purpose and circumstances of your visit.
Invitation Letter
1. The invitation letter will be issued after the
successful registration.
2. Your name must be listed exactly as it appears on
your passport. Any differences between the name on
your passport and the name on your invitation letter
or other documentation could lead to a delay and/or
denial of your visa.
3. Please note ICBDT Conference and the organizing
committees of the conference are not authorized to
assist with the VISA process beyond providing the
Notification of Invitation Letter issued by ICBDT
Conferences and conference Committee Board. Should
your application be denied, ICBDT Conferences and the
organizing committee of the conference cannot change
the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor
will ICBDT Conferences and the organizing committee
of the conference engage in discussion or
correspondence with the MOFA or the Embassy on
behalf of the applicant. The registration fee cannot
be refunded when the VISA application of individual
being denied.
4. It takes around one month for the Embassy to
process the VISA application, please register as
early as you can to make sure you have enough time.
